Delivery Information

Transit Time Domestically

We use BLUEDART, DELHIVERY, EKART, ECOM EXPRESS, AMAZON SHIPPING, and XPRESSBEES for delivering domestic shipments. In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 2–7 days. This might take longer in the event of any natural calamity, virus outbreak, or other obstacles that lead to nationwide or countrywide lockdown/restrictions.

Transit Time Internationally

DHL Express delivers within 7 business days. This timeline is very subjective. It depends on customs clearance in the destination country and other country-specific restrictions or events (e.g. natural calamities or outbreaks) that may delay the shipment. Generally, international orders are considered in transit for 4–22 days.

Order Processing and Dispatch Time

Orders are usually dispatched within 3 business days of payment. However, during sale periods, orders may take up to a week from the order date to get processed. Once shipped, you will be notified via your registered email ID.

Our warehouse operates Monday to Friday during standard business hours (IST), except on national holidays. We take steps to ensure shipment delays are minimized during such closures.

Updating Address / Contact Details

For delivery address changes, we can update your address any time before the order has been dispatched. No address change requests will be accepted after the package has left our facility.

PO Box Shipping

We use DHL Express for international shipments and ship to all locations where DHL Express delivery is available.

Military Address Shipping

Not available.

Items Out of Stock

Domestic Orders: If an item is out of stock, we will dispatch the available items and send the remaining once they are back in stock.

International Orders: If an item is out of stock, we will notify you via the registered email address, refund the unavailable items, and ship the remaining items.

Delivery Time Exceeded / Order Not Received

If the delivery time has exceeded the expected duration, please contact us for investigation and support.

Order Tracking Notifications

Upon dispatch, customers will receive tracking AWB details via email and phone number, which they can use to monitor the shipment progress based on courier updates.

Parcels Damaged in Transit

If the parcel is visibly damaged or the package seal is broken (we use “Do not accept if tampered/damaged” stickers), please reject the parcel and ask the courier to return it to the sender (RTO). Then, contact our customer service immediately.

If the parcel was delivered in your absence and appears damaged, please reach out to customer service within 24 hours for further instructions.

Customs Duties and Taxes

Sales Tax / GST: Already included in the price displayed on our website.

Import Duties & Taxes: For international shipments, import duties and taxes may be applicable upon arrival in the destination country. These charges vary by country. Please check applicable duties before placing an order.

If you refuse to pay duties/taxes, the goods will be returned to us at your expense. A refund will be provided only for the item value, excluding original and return shipping costs.

Order Cancellation – Domestic & International Orders

You may cancel an order before it has been dispatched by writing to contact@thetribescience.com. Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible.

Domestic Orders: You can choose to reject the package upon delivery. It will be returned to us, and upon receiving the returned package, a refund will be issued after deducting return shipping charges.

International Orders: No return requests are accepted once the package is in DHL Express transit. Cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of order placement by emailing us with subject line “cancellation request – order ID”. No cancellations will be entertained once the order is in transit or in the DHL queue.

Lost or Damaged Packages – Process & Claims

Damaged in Transit: We will initiate a refund or replacement after the courier completes their investigation.

Lost in Transit: We will refund or replace the item once the courier has deemed the package lost after investigation.
